CCS combo inlets are the largest and most exposed port design — the AC section plus two DC fast-charge pins sit open to the elements whenever the car is parked. Our CCS covers are molded around the full combo geometry, with reinforced clips sized for the larger housing and a seal that keeps the DC contacts clean and dry.

CCS Cover Questions

What is the difference between CCS1 and CCS2 covers?+

CCS1 covers fit the North American combo inlet (J1772 AC section plus DC pins); CCS2 covers fit the European and global combo inlet (Type 2 AC section plus DC pins). Tell us your market and we ship the right version.

Do I need a CCS cover if I only AC-charge?+

If your port is a CCS combo inlet, a CCS cover protects the full opening including the DC pins. If you prefer a smaller profile, the AC-section cover (Type 2 or J1772) is an alternative — but it leaves the DC pins exposed.

Can you make a CCS cover for a specific vehicle?+

Yes — where the port recess or lid clearance is unusual, we tune the cover profile to the exact housing. A photo or 3D scan of the port is enough to start.
