Our Type 2 dust cover is molded around that exact socket geometry, so the snap-fit seal is tight, the profile clears the port lid, and the cover stays on at speed.

Type 2 Cover Questions

Will a Type 2 dust cover fit my CCS2 port?+

Yes — the Type 2 cover fits the AC section of a CCS2 combo inlet. If you want full coverage including the DC pins, use the dedicated CCS2 cover version instead.

Do covers stay on at motorway speed?+

Yes — the snap-fit clips hold the cover in place while driving, and the optional tether keeps it attached to the charging cable or port area when removed.

Can I get a Type 2 cover with my brand on it?+

Yes — molded or printed logos, Pantone-matched colors, tether tags and retail packaging are all part of our OEM program.
