Rain Cover Questions
What is the difference between a rain cover and a gun cover?+
The terms overlap. A rain cover is a fitted hood that sheds water off the charging gun and plug during outdoor charging; a gun cover is the same family with a sleeve design. Both protect the handle, connector and plug-to-port interface from rain, snow and debris.
Will the cover interfere with the charging session?+
No — the cover fits over the gun and cable while connected, without touching the contact pins. It is designed to be installed and removed without interrupting charging.
Do you supply rain covers to charging station operators?+
Yes — CPOs and charging site operators order branded rain covers for outdoor AC and DC stalls. Bulk programs with custom colors, logos and packaging are standard.
